What we do

Voices addresses the full spectrum of child, youth and family issues – from child care and access to health care coverage for children and youth to juvenile justice and child welfare. Voices for Vermont’s Children works for children and youth with:

  • Advocacy during the Vermont Legislative session
  • Grass roots organizing and advocacy training in local communities
  • Crucial information, advocacy updates, special reports and fact sheets on issues and policy important to children and youth
  • Workshops and courses on public education and advocacy in local communities
  • Publication of Vermont KIDS COUNT and other child well-being reports
