In 2006, Vermont fell short of the Healthy Vermonters 2010 goal for prenatal care of 90%: 86% of pregnant women received prenatal care within the first trimester.
Public Education

Educating Vermont’s children stands as one of our society’s most significant responsibilities. Despite major challenges in today’s society, Vermont is fortunate to have a strong system of local schools where volunteer boards give their time, and the school is part of what makes the community strong.
