A coalition working to improve Vermonters’ lives by building strong public structures
The average formula-fed infant consumes 6 ounces of formula per kilogram of body weight every day – that’s the same as an adult drinking nearly 4 gallons of liquid. This gives infants a relatively high risk of exposure to any toxins present in the tap water used to make the formula.
Annie E. Casey Foundation
Founded in 1948, the primary mission of the Annie E. Casey Foundation is to foster public policies, human-service reforms, and community supports that more effectively meet the needs of today’s vulnerable children and families.
In pursuit of this goal, the Foundation makes grants that help states, cities, and neighborhoods fashion more innovative, cost-effective responses to these needs.
